Where is my life headed?
Reader Question:
"How will my life change after my experiences this year?"
Topics: Relationship—Italy—Senior in College.
You’restarting to question many of your choices, such as the choice of yourmajor. You wonder if you are headed in the right direction. But neverfear—it’s been a tremendous growth period and you will ultimately wearmany hats. Your pick of a major is okay. You will use what you learnedto reap additional rewards in other areas. You’re alwaysgoing to see change taking place, and many times you will be a catalystfor these changes. I know this because you gave me your birth date, andlike me, you have a "5" life path. In Numerology, 5 is a number ofchange.
While some see you as a bit scattered, in truthyou take everything in with a sharp eye and stockpile information. Youdid this in your studies abroad. You had a tendency to separateyourself from others even as you were in the thick of them! Sort oflike being there without being there.
Your boyfriend issomewhat of a mentor, but at the same time you are mentoring him. It’san interesting time for the two of you because you both need to feelsupported.
Come into your heart now, and don’t worry toomuch. You’ll find that you want to help the world, so you may considerjoining a not-for-profit type company. Your brother may be instrumentalin this.
I also see you with more advanced schooling. This could be so many things, so keep an open mind. Learning comes in so many ways.
You enjoyed your travel, but you are a homebody at heart. Your life won’t just change after this year, your change is ongoing!
One of your best traits is your optimism. It is your steady support.

I work in a very specialized job field and when itcomes to my job/possible job/profession I have had horrible timing. In the past 5 years I have either just missed out on the job ("i wish you would have called me yesterday/last week..! We just offered the job to someone else" etc) or I have taken a position & weeks/months into the less desirable position the position I really want bcomes available or I have been the first person laid-off from thatcompany in that role EVER. As I result of this bad timing in 5 years I have had 10+job offers but am currently unemployed, of the 3 jobs I had 2 I was laid-off from, 4 opportunities for the more desirable position weeks/months into the less desirable one and at least 5 situations of "if you had only contacted me...we would have loved to hire you". What can I do to get the timing right and get the right job/job I want?
Thank You
